The story behind the system. The woman behind the empire.
The Beginning: How It Started
I’ve had a love for the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, I knew I wanted to help people — I just didn’t know what that would look like.
I always had an entrepreneurial mindset, but in college, I felt a little lost. I originally thought I’d go into medicine — anesthesiology, to be exact. That first class made me realize very quickly… that was not my path.
But the signs were always there — I was always well-dressed, always polished, and my hair? Laid to perfection. People would constantly stop me on campus asking where I got my bundles. And the entrepreneur in me thought:
“That info is to be sold, not told.”
So I started selling hair — and just like that, my side hustle was born.
It grew quickly. Orders started flying in. I began testing vendors, investing in photoshoots, marketing my brand — and loving every part of it. That’s when I knew… I needed to switch my major to Business.
I did — and I was obsessed. The branding, the setup, the strategy — it was like everything clicked.
The Shift: The Turning Point
As my hair business grew, so did the pressure to scale.
Demand was high — so I made the mistake of switching vendors to cut costs and increase output.
And just like that, the quality dropped.
Clients noticed. Word spread. Refunds and replacements came out of my own pocket, and I was discouraged. I felt defeated. I wanted to give up.
But I didn’t.
I took a step back, tested new vendors, and finally found one that met my standards — even if the price was higher. I realized then:
I would never compromise on quality again.
Because people will pay for what they truly value. I just had to define my audience and raise my standards.
Then came COVID.
Shipments were delayed. Lace was unavailable. My business was shaken all over again.
But I learned how to pivot: I began educating clients, positioning hair as made-to-order to ensure quality control.
And it worked. Clients were willing to wait — because now, they understood the value.
That lesson? Clear communication + elevated branding = loyal clients.
The Build: The Soft Life System Was Born
Around that time, I was presented with an opportunity to open a salon — a full service space.
At first, the location I was shown was… not it. But then I toured a raw space — just concrete walls — and I fell in love.
Crazy, but true.
The build-out took almost two years. I worked with architects, contractors, custom furniture vendors (including one wild experience with overseas manufacturing), and designed every detail from scratch. I learned the business of beauty from behind the scenes.
And while I was building the space, I was also rebuilding myself.
But even with the space secured, I struggled.
I didn’t know how to hire, structure services, set pricing, or lead a team. I reached out to other salon owners… and was shocked when most offered no help unless I paid hundreds or thousands for a simple conversation.
I felt like I was drowning — until one salon owner showed me kindness.
She answered my questions, gave me guidance, and reminded me that community still exists in this industry. That changed everything.
I realized I had gained so much knowledge — not just from books or classes — but from real mistakes, lessons, pivots, and problems.
And that’s when I knew:
I needed to turn this into a system. Something structured, smart, and soft.
So no one else had to struggle like I did.
That’s how the Soft Life Salon System was born.
The Now: What I Stand For
Today, I don’t just run a business — I lead a luxury brand.
My focus is on intentional operations, client experience, and empowering other beauty professionals to step into soft structure without chaos or confusion.
I created this system for those of you who want:
Clarity without overwhelm
Luxury without burnout
Confidence in your pricing, presence, and process
I’m not just here to teach — I’m here to guide.
To show you that structure can be elegant. Boundaries can be soft. And your business can scale without sacrificing your peace.
